Match Format:
Location: High Power Range | 5 Lanes Total
Description: The Scramble Match will consist of five lanes of Precision/NRL22 format stages. The Scramble Match is comprised of reactive steel targets. Registration will be limited to the first 120 shooters. Shooters will be divided into four flights of 30 shooters. Each flight will have 5 squads with 4 to 6 shooters per squad, shotgun start, progressing though the lanes clock-wise as a squad. Each squad will self-time and score until the squad has completed the lane. Then the squad will move as a group to the next lane, repeating until all lanes have been shot. Scores will be combined for all five stages achieving a Scramble Match Total for each participant. Safety glasses are required throughout the competition, whether shooting or observing.
Precision/NRL22: Physical movement and positional shooting, excluding prone, will be required. All stages will be shots limited with a 90 second PAR time.
Equipment: Commercial pellet and/or slug .22 to .30 caliber, FPE minimum 28-maximum 150. No tethered tanks. Air recharging is allowed between lanes. Bipods are considered part of the rifle. Tripods are not allowed.
1. Course of Fire at each stage will define: stage procedure, barricade position(s), possible point total, target sequence and target distances, 10 points per impact.
2. Shooters have a 90 second PAR Time and each lane is shots limited.
3. Start position will be the same for each lane; standing behind the barricade, muzzle pointed down range, magazine in, bolt back, chamber empty, all bags to be used in hand.
4. One lane will be a tie-breaker stage. Shooter yells “Stop” when they have completed the COF. Each second of remaining time, time not used, will add .1 of a point to the shooters lane score.
Match Director
Any airguns declared unsafe to people or property (including targets) by the Match Director will be barred from use. Any safety violation will result in a shooter being disqualified and shooter must leave the match.
In any matters arising and not covered by these rules, the Match Director’s decision will be final.
